Ralph White- Titanic Explorer
White was the motion picture cameraman and one of the underwater imaging supervisors for the French/American Team which discovered the wreck of the R.M.S. Titanic in 1985. In 1987 he was co-director of submersible operations and underwater photographer for the French Expedition which retrieved over 1800 artifacts from the Titanic's debris field, and in 1991 he was one of the three submersible cameramen and underwater navigator for the Russian-Canadian-American Expedition which filmed the wreck of the Titanic in the world's largest motion picture format, IMAX. He is currently featured as one of the principal expedition members in the IMAX feature length documentary "TITANICA". As one of the experts in deep ocean operations and imaging, he currently holds the world's record for the number of submersible dives to the two and a half mile deep Titanic, and has more submersible dives as a foreigner aboard the French "Nautile" and Soviet "MIR" Submersibles.
He is a Knight of The Order of Constantine, and The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus. A Fellow and Past Vice Chapter Chairman of the Explorers Club, and a Past President of the Adventurers' Club. The Underwater Society of America awarded him the prestigious "NOGI" for his life time achievement in underwater photography.
